Join us at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm and learn about one of the world's most distinctive trees from one of the world's foremost botanical experts. Professor Sir Peter R. Crane will present “Ginkgo: The Tree that Time Forgot”, a lecture based on a book of the same name. Dr. Crane will discuss the history of ginkgo, its cultural significance, medicinal and nutritional uses and its importance as one of the world’s oldest and most recognizable trees. A book signing will follow his lecture. Lecture is free to members of the Herb Society of America-NC Unit and members of Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. Non-members are $10 at the door.
